Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95

Essential Functions

• Collect, verify, and enter demographic, clinical, inpatient, outpatient, and follow-up data into research databases and registries. • Maintain and update transplant-related databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. • Enter patient-reported outcomes, questionnaires, and survey data according to study protocols and regulatory requirements. • Perform comprehensive medical record chart extractions from electronic and paper records. • Abstract clinical data related to diagnoses, treatments, procedures, laboratory results, adverse events, and outcomes. • Perform routine data quality checks and validation procedures to identify discrepancies, missing information, and data inconsistencies. • Resolve data queries and collaborate with research and clinical teams to ensure data integrity. • Maintain confidentiality of patient and research participant information in accordance with HIPAA and institutional policies. • Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable research regulations. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and subject retention. • Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures related to data collection and management. • Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, clinicians, and data management personnel to support research objectives. • Participate in team meetings and training activities related to research protocols, databases, and registry requirements.

Physical Requirements Performs most work under normal office conditions. Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, using repetitive wrist motions, and occasional lifting of articles 10-15 pounds. Stretching and bending for filing. Requires frequent verbal and written communication in English. Intact sense of sight and hearing required.

Education, Experience and Certifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Previous medical experience a benefit. E xperience with EPIC, Redcap, data extraction and entry, healthcare, and research highly preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Proficiency with electronic medical records and database systems. • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
