What You Will Do • Part of a multi-discipline Integrated Product Team [IPT] to establish repair design requirements and ensure repairs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements of the Original Engineering Manufactured (OEM) parts. • Assist in researching operating environments and functionality of components, their interactions with mating parts, and develop strategies which will return damaged parts back to service. • Assist in Creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for repairs, including a high-level sequence of operations forming the basis for manufacturing operation sheets. • Participate in the prototyping of new repairs as needed. • Assist in ensuring engineering tasks are accomplished on schedule and within budget to the prescribed work scope.

Qualifications You Must Have • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session. • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session. • Experience using computer aided design (CAD) software such as Unigraphics/NX, or equivalent 3D modeling software. • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
