Relief Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant (RVT/ VA)

We’re passionate about the veterinary profession and are seeking skilled Relief Registered Veterinary Technici ans (RVTs) and Veterinary Assistants (VAs) to join our SF Bay Area team!

Location: Relief shifts are available at our SF Bay Area clinics.

What you’ll be working on:

• Maximize Your Skills: Utilize your RVT license or veterinary assistant experience to its fullest, delivering top-notch patient care

• Precision in Care: Maintain accurate medical records with appropriate veterinary terminology

• Diagnostic & Clinical Support: Perform or assist with lab work, patient restraint, and radiology, ensuring quality results

• Pharmacology Knowledge: Assist with medication administration and handle controlled substances in accordance with state guidelines

• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to provide exceptional care

• Client Communication: Deliver clear, compassionate discharge instructions and support to pet owners

• Autonomous Practice: Thrive in a setting that values independence, initiative, and proactive problem-solving

• Continuous Learning: Grow in a culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and clinical excellence

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience. This role will not be eligible for medical, financial, and/or other full-time benefits. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographi c locatio n. The pay range for this position is listed below; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Hourly Range $28 — $40 USD
