Rail Loadout Operator About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing • Operate rail loadout systems to safely and efficiently load materials into railcars • Monitor loading processes and inspect equipment to ensure quality and accuracy • Coordinate with rail crews, plant personnel, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly • Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures while supporting production goals

What Are We Looking For • Ability to safely operate and monitor rail loading equipment and systems • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in material handling • Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report operational issues • Commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence

Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
