Radiology Associate

About this role

Position Overview United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a motivated Radiologic Technology student to serve as a Radiology Associate, providing essential support to the Radiology Department. This role is designed to develop practical skills and prepare students for a career as a Radiologic Technologist. Responsibilities include all general radiologic processes; assisting technical and clerical staff, facilitating patient and equipment transport, maintaining supplies, supporting patient flow, and performing quality assurance tasks. The position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality customer service for patients, medical staff, employees, and regulatory agencies. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Imaging Support Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range: $16.00 - $20.16 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Responsibilities • Transport patients safely from waiting areas and hospital rooms to radiologic procedure areas. • Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies, maintaining linens, and ensuring cleanliness of procedural areas. • Support patient transfers between stretchers, wheelchairs, and examination tables, ensuring patient safety and comfort. • Provide administrative support through completion of general clerical tasks. • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Position Qualifications ​

Minimum Required: • High school diploma, or equivalent • Current enrollment in a Radiologic Technology education program

Preferred: • Previous Radiology work experience
