At C hristianaCare -GoHealth Urgent Care , we are committed to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals through our Radiologic Technologist , New Grad Bridge Program . This unique opportunity is designed for recent graduates who have completed their RT program and are awaiting full state licensure.
As a participant, you'll gain valuable hands-on healthcare experience by:
• Learning day-to-day center operations and patient care workflows
• Training alongside experienced clinical team members
• Shadowing licensed Radiologic Technologists
• Developing skills in a Medical Assistant capacity while completing licensure requirements
• Building relationships and establishing your career in urgent care before stepping into your RT role
Once your state licensure is validated , you'll be eligible to transition into a Radiologic Technologist position , complete with:

• Hourly Rate: Starting rate of $22/ hr. eligible for increase to $29.50-$40.00 depending on years of experience; following receipt of all necessary licenses and transition to Radiologic Technologist role

What You’ll Do For Our Patients
• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
• Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include shadowing current radiologic technologists
• Observe radiographic examinations and participate in structured training designed to prepare for independent Radiologic Technologist responsibilities upon licensure .
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist (RT) works with Medical Providers and/or Medical Assistants with the examination and treatment of ChristianaCare- GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for providing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis for our ChristianaCare- GoHealth Urgent Care patients. This role is responsible for performing patient x-rays and reporting results to Medical Providers for analysis, diagnosis and treatment . Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of ChristianaCare- GoHealth Urgent Care Centers. In a collaborative manner, the Radiologic Technologist will provide support to Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication .
Team Members hired into the RT New Grad Bridge program will be in a short-term transitional position designed for recent graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program who are awaiting state licensure and/or registration. During this period of time , the RT Bridge will support patient care and clinic operations by performing approved clinical and administrative duties within the scope of their current credentials and organizational policies. T hey will be hired into a Medical Assistant position to start, w orking alongside licensed Radiologic Technologists, and will support patient care operations and develop familiarity with radiology workflows and clinical processes to prepare them for independent practice upon licensure , as permitted by the scope of their credentials and Company policies . Upon successful completion of all required licensing, registration, and Company credentialing requirements, the y will be eligible and expected to transition into a Radiologic Technologist role , c ommensurate with a pay increase .
Job Requirements
Education
• Graduate of an a ccredited Radiologic Technology program required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CPOE must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire if Medical Assistant Certification is not obtained upon hire or if the candidate does not have an active Medical Assistant Certification.
