About this role

Job Details Jefferson Health is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologists to join our growing multidisciplinary pulmonary care teams across various regions, including our academic flagship campuses and community-based hospitals, such as those within the Einstein Healthcare Network. We offer a diverse range of practice environments, from high-acuity academic centers with teaching opportunities to community-focused hospitals with a strong emphasis on personalized care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence in pulmonary medicine, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities exist in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with flexibility to align with your clinical interests, including critical care, advanced bronchoscopy, or subspecialty niches.

Job Description • Provide comprehensive diagnosis, management, and treatment of pulmonary conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related disorders • Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies • Perform and interpret bronchoscopies and other pulmonary procedures (as applicable) • Participate in inpatient consults and/or ICU coverage (based on site-specific needs) • Collaborate with critical care, thoracic surgery, radiology, and oncology teams • Document care in a timely and accurate manner using electronic medical records (EMR) • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students (at academic sites) • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and initiatives
