Holman Upfitting has a great opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our team in Maple Shade, NJ !

The Production Supervisor will provide day-to-day direction to the department employees, analyze equipment and make suggestions for improved equipment performance, critiquing failures, and developing solutions.

What will you do?

• Coach and guide team members to improve knowledge and skill where required. • review production schedule, evaluate and prioritize work orders and assign to appropriate personnel. • Oversee the daily activities required to process the current jobs within established schedule. • Supervise, train, counsel and motivate department employees. • Investigate, recommend and implement work processes in order to improve efficiency, quality and safety. • Analyze, resolve and assist employees in problem resolutions. • Communicate and provide feedback to management regarding activities, issues and / or problems on jobs. • Prepare production reports, efficiency reports and other requested reports and distribute to appropriate personnel. • Ensure all employees are trained and compliant with company policies and procedures. • Promote a positive team environment. • Possess knowledge of assembly processes to limit scrap materials. • Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the production processes. • Ability to think on your own and request assistance when needed. • Must comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years of Leadership experience • 3-5 years of work experience in Automotive/Truck based industry • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight and/or warehouse operations • Understanding the process of building a vehicle/ Shipping and Inspections • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient with Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). • Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office. • Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment. • Valid driver’s license.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $72,950.00 - $103,955.00 USD annually for full time employees.
