Summary of Role:  GlobalFoundries has a 2027 New College Graduate opportunity at the Malta, NY site for a Production Control Engineer. The role supports production planning, new product introduction execution, and data-driven manufacturing improvements in a high-volume semiconductor environment. 

Essential Responsibilities include:  • Work with the Production Control team to support new product introduction and manufacturing execution initiatives.  • Analyze production data and develop reporting tools that improve delivery performance and operational decision making.  • Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Integration, Planning, and Line Control teams to ensure successful product launches and factory readiness.  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence. 

Other Responsibilities:  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

Required Qualifications:  • Education – Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field from an accredited degree program.  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)  • Travel - Up to 10% 

Preferred Qualifications:  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.  • Project management skills and the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter.  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  • Strong planning and organizational skills.  • Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, and manufacturing systems.  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Expected Salary Range $58,400.00 - $100,800.00 The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
