About this role

About Inworld

Inworld is a research lab of top researchers and engineers, building the world’s top-ranked realtime voice models.

Today our models are the #1 ranked realtime voice models in the world. They are used to power the largest consumer-facing AI applications available, across categories like health, fitness, learning, therapy, companions, customer experience and media; representing 100s of millions of end users. Our work spans areas like research and development of state-of-the-art models, optimizing realtime inference, and creating best-in-class APIs and products that allow developers to engage their users.

We’ve raised more than $125M from Lightspeed, Section 32, Kleiner Perkins, Microsoft’s M12 venture fund, Founders Fund, Meta and Stanford, among others. Our technology has powered experiences from companies such as NVIDIA, Microsoft Xbox, Niantic, Logitech Streamlabs, Wishroll, Little Umbrella and Bible Chat. We’ve also been recognized by CB Insights as one of the 100 most promising AI companies globally and have been named one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Startups in the USA.

YOUR IMPACT

We're looking for an AI-native Product Marketing Manager to own what Inworld says about itself and make it stick. Realtime voice is one of the fastest-moving categories in AI, and your job is to make that advantage legible, provable, and repeatable.

This role runs on cadences: engineering ships continuously, and sales needs language for it the same week. You'll work closely with the sales, product and engineering, and DevRel. It's a hands-on role: you'll write the positioning, run the benchmark, ship the launch post, and sit in on customer calls yourself.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Make one claim the whole company can repeat

- Define the core positioning claim and the proof behind it, then get it into the docs, the website, the deck, and how founders and engineers describe us in the room

- Retire competing versions of the story as they appear rather than letting them run in parallel

Turn what engineering ships into what sales can say

- Run a weekly cadence with engineering and research to convert what shipped into customer-facing language, for sales to use it that week

- Maintain the source of truth on what's live, what changed, and what it means for a developer evaluating us

Put proof in the room before price comes up

- Build the proof library sales reaches for - case studies, demo videos, one-pagers, and technical FAQs

- Sequence enablement so proof reaches the customer earlier in the conversation than commercial terms

- Produce the comparison substance that GEO, DevRel, and paid distribute - benchmarks, head-to-head breakdowns, and migration guides

Make a launch land more than once

- Build a repeatable launch motion - narrative, assets, channels, and measurement - that works for every release rather than being rebuilt each time

- Extend each launch past announcement week through follow-on content, integrations, and customer proof

Keep the competitive picture current enough to act on

- Maintain living comparisons on latency, quality, price, and reliability in a category that shifts weekly

- Feed that picture directly into proof assets and evaluation content

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- 3–5 years in product marketing for developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, APIs, or technical platform products

- Technical fluency - you can read the docs, call the API, run a benchmark, and hold your own with researchers and engineers

- Exceptional writing for a technical audience

- Experience marketing a self-serve product that feeds a sales motion

- Comfortable working at a weekly cadence with engineering and research, pulling technical detail rather than waiting for it to be handed over

- Prior experience with speech, audio, or realtime systems is a plus

- Power user of Claude Code or equivalent, thinking in terms of agents and systems

Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (you will be working on-site in our South Bay office a few days a week).

The base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 - $260,000+ bonus + equity + benefits.
