We are seeking a strategic, outcome-driven Product Manager to shape the future of technology-enabled tax delivery by owning one or more products within the Tax product line. This role will define product vision and strategy, guide roadmap priorities, and partner across Tax, technology, data, UX, platform, and vendor teams to translate practitioner needs and customer insights into scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of modern product management discipline and tax domain knowledge, with the ability to understand complex tax workflows, identify practitioner pain points, and shape product decisions that improve quality, efficiency, consistency, and user experience. This individual will help establish and mature product management practices as part of a broader operating model transformation.

Your Role. • Define and champion a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Tax business goals, practitioner needs, quality objectives, and the evolving tax technology landscape. • Own and communicate the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact, business value, strategic alignment, feasibility, and measurable outcomes. • Lead customer discovery with tax partners, tax professionals, operations teams, methodology stakeholders, and other subject matter specialists to identify pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities to improve tax delivery workflows. • Monitor market trends across tax technology, accounting software, AI, analytics, automation, workflow platforms, and adjacent industries. Use customer feedback, usage analytics, KPIs, experimentation, and business metrics to guide decisions, refine priorities, and measure value realization. • Partner with engineering, architecture, data, UX, platform, vendor, and business teams to deliver cohesive, scalable product solutions. • Create clarity across stakeholders and delivery teams regarding priorities, trade-offs, ownership, success measures, and outcome accountability. • Champion and help mature modern product management practices, including discovery, roadmap management, prioritization, experimentation, adoption planning, and value measurement.

The Qualifications. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA, advanced degree, CPA, or equivalent designation is a plus. • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably paired with meaningful exposure to tax technology, tax operations, public accounting, professional services, or workflow-intensive software environments. • Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy, own roadmaps, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, and translate business needs into scalable solutions. • Working knowledge of tax engagement workflows, compliance processes, tax provision, firm methodology, data dependencies, or practitioner-facing tax tools, with the judgment to know when to engage deeper subject matter expertise. • Strong customer discovery, research, and user-centered design capabilities, with an ability to identify workflow challenges and unmet needs. • Data-driven decision-making skills, including experience using analytics, customer feedback, KPIs, business cases, and experimentation to prioritize and measure outcomes. • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence across levels, and align cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with agile, lean, and modern product operating models, including effective partnership with technology, data, UX, platform, business, and vendor teams. • Strategic thinking, change leadership, vendor and ecosystem awareness, and the ability to lead through influence in complex, cross-functional environments.
