About this role
The Opportunity
We're building the growth engine behind our professional design tools and emerging creative products . This is a newly created, growth-focused product management role, concentrated on acquisition , activation, and monetization for our apps. You'll report to the product director for this business line, building the growth function from the ground up, partnering closely with data science , product marketing , and the product, design and eng teams working on our apps .
What You'll Do
• Own this product's growth strategy end to end: acquisition (including migrating an existing adjacent user base), activation, retention, and monetization, from private beta through the push to general availability.
• Build the growth measurement and experimentation foundation, partnering with a data science function to instrument the funnel, define metrics, and stand up an experimentation practice.
• Work with PMM to define and drive the monetization strategy, in partnership with that platform's product team.
• Run growth experiments end to end, from hypothesis through analysis through shipped change, balancing big bets that could shift the growth trajectory with quick wins that remove everyday friction.
• Ground growth prioritization in research the team already has (audience segmentation, competitive studies, beta-user profiling) rather than starting from a blank page, and commission new research to close real gaps.
• Partner with engineering, design, and marketing to ship growth work cleanly, and track how adjacent creative and design tools are moving so this product's growth story stays differentiated rather than reactive.
• As scope broadens, extend the same growth strategy and measurement discipline to a second product and the wider portfolio it sits in.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
• 6+ years in product management with a growth focus , including direct ownership of acquisition, activation, or monetization for a freemium or subscription product.
• A track record of running structured growth experiments (A/B testing, funnel analysis) and turning results into shipped product decisions, not just a readout.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort partnering directly with data science to define metrics and build measurement from the ground up.
• Experience with monetization, pricing, or packaging strategy, ideally including usage-based or credit-based models.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. This role has dependencies on data science, engineering, design, and marketing, without formal authority over any of them.
• Familiarity with the professional design-tools competitive landscape is a strong plus.
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience monetizing generative AI features or credit-based packaging.
• Experience taking a product through private beta to general availability.
• Prior experience in a large creative-software or design-tools ecosystem.
