Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.
Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.
Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the UK, and France.
As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.

Role Overview We're looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of the payments platform and experiences that help drive the accelerated growth we’ve experienced across our Grading and Marketplace business lines, including our Liquidity offerings and Digital Repacking product ( Power Packs ).
Money movement sits underneath nearly everything Collectors does. Every grading submission, vault transaction, marketplace sale, consignment payout, among other transactional experiences relies on a payment stack that has to be fast, resilient, cost-effective and compliant across a growing number of business models and expanding globally. This role will own that stack outright: how funds come in, how funds go out, how they are routed and how customers see and control their money in our products.
You will work with stakeholders across our Marketplace and Grading business lines, Finance and Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Risk, as well as other Product and Tech partner teams, with regular exposure to the executive team.
What You'll Do • Own the payments strategy and roadmap. Set a multi-year direction for the payment platform that serves today's revenue lines and anticipates the ones we haven't launched yet. Sequence platform investment against near-term business commitments and defend those tradeoffs with executives.
• Build a wallet that customers can use across our products and platforms. Own balance and activity views, top-up, withdrawal, and split-pay, turning stored value from a settlement mechanism into a reason customers choose us.
• Take payments international. Deliver the payment, currency, and local method capabilities, partnering with Tax and Legal on registration, reporting obligations including DAC7, and market-by-market compliance.
• Run money-in and money-out end to end. Acquiring, alternative payment methods, payouts, settlement, funding patterns, and reconciliation, including the ledger and reporting foundation Finance depends on for accurate, timely close.
• Drive orchestration and cost optimization. Own multi-PSP routing, least-cost routing, failover and redundancy, retry and decline strategy, and network-level economics. Treat authorization rate and cost per transaction as products you are accountable for, not metrics you report on.
• Partner internally with Risk and Fraud teams to reduce payment fraud and dispute loss, transaction screening, chargeback and dispute workflows, and the approval-rate-versus-loss tradeoff.
Who You Are • 8+ years in product management, with deep payments or consumer fintech experience. You have owned production payment systems at meaningful scale, not adjacent surfaces. Senior IC experience at a high-growth marketplace, fintech, or platform company is preferable.
• Fluent in the payments stack. Card networks and interchange, gateway and PSP integrations (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, or comparable), tokenization, 3DS and SCA, alternative and local payment methods, payouts, and dispute lifecycles. You know where the money and the failure modes actually live.
• Experienced in cross-border payments. You have launched payments into new countries and navigated currency, local methods, and regulatory and tax reporting requirements with Legal and Compliance partners.
• Experience with a marketplace, where pricing, promotions, and payment mechanics all pull on the same supply-and-demand levers.
• Rigorous and decisive under ambiguity. You use data and experimentation where they apply, make high-conviction calls where they don't, and take full accountability for the outcome.
• A clear communicator who builds alignment without authority. You compress complexity for executives and hold the line on detail with the teams building it.
• Nice to have: Strong on financial operations. You have built or materially improved ledger, settlement, and reconciliation systems, and you have worked shoulder to shoulder with Accounting through close.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $190,000 – $300,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
