A Day in the Life The Principal Buyer/Planner is a critical member of the Plymouth Nathan Lane Supply Chain team, responsible for planning and procurement activities that ensure uninterrupted supply of purchased materials to support manufacturing operations within the PVH Operating Unit (OU). This on-site role serves as the primary liaison between suppliers, remote buyers, planning, operations, sourcing, quality, and business partners to balance inventory and production requirements. The position plays a key role in driving service, inventory, and cost objectives while proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks across the value stream.

We’re working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.                      Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Sources, purchases, plans, and schedules the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through production and inventory process.

• Lead the identification, escalation, and resolution of material shortages and supply disruptions, coordinating cross-functional actions with suppliers, manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics teams to protect service, inventory, and operational objectives.

• Coordinates and follows up with production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services.

• Identifies raw material, component, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.

• In front-end procurement mode, analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.

• Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.

• May monitor performance of suppliers and collaborate on demand analysis planning.

Must Have: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile and resume • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

• May have broad knowledge of project management.

Nice to Have:   • Experience supporting a high-volume, multi-value-stream manufacturing environment with complex product portfolios and frequent demand shifts.

• Experience using SAP and Blue Yonder (BY) for MRP execution, supply planning, inventory management, and demand signal analysis.

• Proficiency in leveraging Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to extract insights, evaluate supply and inventory performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support site and business objectives.

• Knowledge of supply chain performance metrics such as backorders, backlog, SOTIF, inventory health, and material availability.

• Experience working in a medical device, healthcare, or other regulated manufacturing environment.

• Lean, Six Sigma, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, or continuous improvement experience preferred.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
