The Principal AI Engineer is responsible for driving AI adoption and innovation across Corporate Functions, Contact Center Operations, and Go-To-Market (GTM) products.

This role serves as the technical leader for enterprise AI initiatives, partnering with business leaders, product teams, and engineering organizations to design, build, and operationalize AI solutions on Azure and Google Cloud. The role combines AI architecture, platform engineering, product innovation, and organizational change leadership to transform AI opportunities into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise AI Adoption • Partner with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Care, and IT leaders to identify high-value AI opportunities. • Lead AI strategy, technical architecture, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions. • Drive adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-powered workflow automation. • Develop reusable enterprise AI patterns, frameworks, and accelerators. • Establish AI best practices, governance standards, and engineering guidelines. • Lead architecture and deployment of AI-powered customer service solutions and virtual agents. • Design and implement: • Conversational AI • Voice and chat agents • AI-assisted agent experiences • Knowledge retrieval systems • Intelligent intake and triage workflows • Multi-agent orchestration

• Define Day-2 operating models including: • Monitoring and observability • AI SecOps • Human escalation workflows • Kill-switch and fallback mechanisms • Incident management and operational support

Required Qualifications Experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline. • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, or AI engineering. • 5+ years delivering production AI/ML solutions at enterprise scale. • Proven experience architecting AI solutions on Azure and/or Google Cloud. • Experience building and deploying customer-facing AI products. • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, product, operations, and engineering teams.

Technical Expertise • Azure and Google Cloud • Databricks and BigQuery • Python and modern software engineering practices • API and microservice architectures • Large Language Models (LLMs) • Agentic AI architectures • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) • AI observability and monitoring • AI governance and evaluation frameworks

Leadership Skills • Executive communication and stakeholder management • Strong product and business acumen • Ability to influence across organizational boundaries • Experience mentoring engineers and architects • Strong partnership and vendor management skills

Preferred Qualifications • Experience delivering production-grade Contact Center AI solutions.

• Familiarity with platforms such as: • Google Customer Engagement Suite (CES) • Vertex AI Agent Builder • Microsoft Copilot Studio • Genesys Cloud AI

• Experience implementing: • Voice bots and virtual agents • Agent Assist solutions • Knowledge retrieval and RAG • Intelligent routing and triage • Human-in-the-loop escalation workflows
