Barbaricum is seeking a Trainer Maintenance Technician (TMT) / Field Service Representative (FSR) for the anticipated Product Manager Robotic and Autonomous Systems (PdM RGCS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The Trainer Maintenance Technician (TMT), also referred to as a Field Service Representative (FSR), delivers Operator (OPNET) and Field-Level Maintainer (FLMNET) new equipment training and performs troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of fielded RGCS robotic systems at Fort Leonard Wood and at CONUS/OCONUS locations. The TMT/FSR conducts quality assurance at Total Package Fielding events, supports fielding and inventory, and serves as a subject-matter expert for U.S. Army ground robotic efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• New Equipment Training: Conduct OPNET and FLMNET new equipment training for Government personnel at CONUS and OCONUS locations in accordance with the POI/TSP, covering operations, operator maintenance, PMCS, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and deliver Key Leader Briefings when requested, and participate in briefings and meetings as required.
• Prepare and submit trip reports and estimates prior to the event, provide daily updates during the event, and compile the CDRL and Actual Cost Memo inputs afterward.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of fielded robotic systems during de-processing events for TPF, conducting inventory and Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
• Quality Assurance: Conduct daily QA checks on new or repaired systems using Government-provided checklists at all TPF events.
• Fielding and Inventory Support: Prep equipment for fielding, conduct pre-fielding and joint inventories with unit representatives, and confirm the accuracy of components and serial numbers; prepare fielding documentation (DA 3161/DA 2062).
• SME and Field Support: Act as an SME for U.S. Army ground robotic efforts; attend logistics and training meetings; provide recommendations for technical manuals and fielding plans; respond to Requests for Information (RFI); and determine whether an issue can be resolved on site or requires return to Fort Leonard Wood for Technical Inspection (TI) and repair.
• Global Deployment: Be prepared to travel or deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary to support mission requirements.
Qualifications:
• Must have and maintain at least a Secret level security clearance.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience since 2000 in the maintenance and training of fielded military equipment.
• At least two (2) years serving as a certified military equipment instructor, with completion of an approved instructor course such as FIFC, ABIC, or ITC.
• Thoroughly experienced and qualified to advise on the operation, training, maintenance, and repair of U.S. Army robotic products.
• Proficiency in conducting technical inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of complex systems.
• Ability to support facility and grounds maintenance and perform troubleshooting and repairs on training systems as required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with military personnel and senior leadership.
• Valid civilian driver's license.
