Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership (SVPs, VPs, and portfolio leaders), this role translates enterprise strategy into scalable portfolio operating models that drive alignment, flow, value delivery, and measurable business outcomes across the organization. This position combines deep expertise in Lean Portfolio Management, enterprise operating model design, organizational transformation, and systems thinking with exceptional executive influence, facilitation, and data-driven decision-making skills. The role focuses on enterprise enablement rather than delivery management, driving portfolio optimization, governance consistency, operating model maturity, and long-term organizational optimization while partnering across business and technology teams to improve enterprise performance and strategic execution.

The Portfolio Enablement Lead serves as a trusted transformation leader responsible for advancing Humana's Ways of Working through the design, governance enablement, and evolution of portfolio operating models, ART structures, and leadership practices across assigned portfolios. In this highly influential role, you will collaborate with executive leaders across business and technology to shape how portfolios are structured, prioritized, governed, and executed to achieve strategic business objectives. As a trusted advisor, you will partner directly with SVPs, VPs, Directors, and senior portfolio leaders to align organizational design, portfolio strategy, and operating models with enterprise priorities and regulatory requirements. You will provide strategic recommendations that influence portfolio investment decisions, prioritization frameworks, execution models, and transformation roadmaps across multiple business domains. The Portfolio Enablement Lead is responsible for driving large-scale portfolio transformation initiatives, enabling enterprise standards, and ensuring consistency in portfolio design and execution. This role provides leadership in Lean Portfolio Management, organizational design, systems thinking, and continuous improvement practices while enabling sustainable transformation outcomes at scale . Rather than focusing solely on portfolio execution, this role is accountable for helping leaders define and implement durable operating models that improve organizational effectiveness, portfolio alignment, value realization, and enterprise agility. The Portfolio Enablement Lead translates enterprise transformation strategy into practical portfolio frameworks, governance models, and leadership behaviors that support long-term business success. The role works across multiple portfolios, facilitating executive-level decision-making, diagnosing systemic challenges, and advising leadership on portfolio optimization, flow efficiency, investment alignment, and organizational effectiveness. It plays a key role in evolving Humana's enterprise portfolio ecosystem and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and enterprise thinking. This position operates with significant autonomy, exercising sound judgment in highly complex and ambiguous situations while influencing enterprise standards, transformation strategy, and portfolio design practices. The role serves as a key integration point across business and technology organizations to ensure consistency in portfolio execution and strategic alignment. [ This role resides within the Office of the COO in the Technical organization, maintaining enterprise neutrality while partnering across business, product, and technology organizations to enable cohesive portfolio operations and enterprise outcomes. As a Portfolio Enablement Lead, you will: • Lead the evolution and adoption of enterprise portfolio Ways of Working across assigned portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory requirements. • E nable portfolio design standards, including ART structures, value stream alignment, operating models, and support portfolio governance frameworks . • Support the d evelop ment and execute portfolio transformation strategies and multi-year roadmaps that drive organizational agility and business outcomes. • Influence executive leadership on portfolio optimization, investment alignment, prioritization frameworks, and operating model design. • Conduct portfolio assessments and diagnostics to identify systemic risks, performance trends, opportunities for improvement, and organizational constraints. • Facilitate executive-level planning, alignment, and decision-making sessions to resolve competing priorities and drive strategic outcomes. • Guide and develop Senior Portfolio Enablement Leads and transformation practitioners to improve capability maturity and consistency across portfolios. • Partner with leaders to ensure portfolio operating models support organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term business strategy. • Enable portfolio metrics and governance frameworks that measure portfolio health, flow efficiency, transformation progress, and value realization. • Drive adoption of Lean Portfolio Management principles, systems thinking, and continuous improvement practices across the enterprise. • Serve as the escalation point for systemic portfolio challenges and provide recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and execution. • Champion enterprise standards across portfolio operations, tooling, AI adoption, security, compliance, and operational excellence. • Facilitate leadership coaching, mentoring, and capability-building initiatives that strengthen portfolio leadership effectiveness. • Promote enterprise thinking and long-term optimization by connecting strategy, organizational design, governance, and executio
