Job Description The Payments: Merchant and Institutions (PMI ) Sales Enablement Governance & Execution Lead is responsible for driving governance, execution discipline, organizational alignment, and communications across PMI Sales. This leader serves as the connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring priorities are clearly defined, initiatives are effectively governed, progress is transparent, and business outcomes are achieved. The role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Enablement teams to drive accountability, accelerate decision-making, and enable successful adoption of strategic initiatives.
Sales Governance & Portfolio Management • Establish and lead the PMI Sales governance framework, including prioritization, decision-making processes, executive reviews, and accountability mechanisms.
• Manage the sales enablement initiative portfolio, ensuring resources are aligned to the highest-value opportunities and strategic priorities.
• Facilitate leadership forums and governance routines that drive transparency, alignment, and informed decision-making.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and execution roadblocks, proactively driving resolution and escalation when needed.
Strategic Initiative Execution • Lead execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives and enterprise priorities impacting PMI Sales.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and success measures to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
• Coordinate across product, sales, marketing, operations, technology, and other partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Track business outcomes and performance indicators to evaluate initiative effectiveness and inform leadership decisions.
Executive Communications & Organizational Alignment • Develop executive-level communications, presentations, reporting, and leadership updates.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable messaging for stakeholders across the organization.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change management strategies that increase adoption and organizational readiness.
• Ensure consistent communication of priorities, progress, risks, and key decisions across PMI Sales.
Operating Effectiveness & Execution Discipline • Implement processes, tools, and operating rhythms that improve execution efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
• Establish performance tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor initiative progress and business outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows, reduce complexity, and improve speed-to-execution.
• Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and results-oriented execution across the organization.
Success Metrics • Initiative Delivery: Strategic initiatives delivered on time, within scope, and achieving intended business outcomes.
• KPI Attainment: Achievement of defined sales, enablement, operational, and organizational performance metrics.
• Change Adoption: Successful adoption of new processes, programs, and strategic initiatives across PMI Sales.
• Execution Efficiency & Effectiveness: Improved operating cadence, decision-making speed, governance effectiveness, and organizational productivity.
• Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from executive leadership and cross-functional partners regarding communication, alignment, and execution support.

Preferred Skills/Experience • Experience establishing and leading governance frameworks, operating models, and executive decision-making processes within large, matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated success managing complex portfolios of strategic initiatives, including prioritization, resource allocation, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Risk, and other stakeholder groups.
• Advanced executive communication skills with experience developing board-ready presentations, strategic narratives, and leadership briefings.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategic initiatives to measurable sales, operational, and financial outcomes.
• Experience leading organizational change, adoption strategies, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Expertise in establishing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and performance management frameworks to drive accountability and results.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks, remove execution barriers, and drive issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
• Track record of improving operating effectiveness through process optimization, governance enhancements, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments managing concurrent priorities with significant executive visibility.
Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Eight or more years of related experience
