Position Summary / Career Interest: Physician - Advanced Gastroenterologist
The University of Kansas Health System, Olathe Campus, is actively seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join its dynamic and well-established GI team in a reputable healthcare facility dedicated to providing comprehensive gastroenterology care. We have 4 Gastroenterologists in our practice comprised of 2 general GI, 1 general GI with ERCP training and 1 general GI with EUS training. We also have 3 GI Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This opportunity offers a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment and a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional gastroenterology care and contributing to the continued growth of our esteemed healthcare institution.
About the position • 3 Procedure days, 2 clinic days • Large primary care physician referral base • Single hospital coverage • Call schedule 1:4 to 1:5 weekly rotation depending on start date; 2 APPs assist with inpatient hospital coverage • Brand new GI Lab that includes: • 6 fully equipped procedure rooms • Additional procedure rooms available for growth • ERCP and EUS capabilities • High risk procedures completed in dedicated main OR suite
