Job description:   MD Landscaping   is   seeking   a skilled and motivated   Plant Healthcare Technician   to join our team. This role is essential in   maintaining   the health and beauty of landscapes by diagnosing and treating plant health issues. The ideal candidate is detail-o riented, safety-conscious, and passionate about delivering exceptional client service.  

Key Responsibilities   (based on skill level)  

• Provide   effective client communication and care , ensuring a positive customer experience.  

• Complete   accurate   diagnostic reports   for plant health assessments.  

• Monitor, diagnose, and treat   insect , disease, physiological, and cultural conditions affecting trees, shrubs, and lawns.  

• Select and apply the   most   appropriate products   or treatments   for each issue.  

• Perform   granular, liquid, and systemic applications   safely and effectively.  

• Adhere to   industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements   at all times.  

Experience & Qualifications  

• Valid driver’s license   with a clean MVR.  

• Minimum   1 year of experience   operating spray and application equipment.  

• Strong knowledge of   tree and shrub species   adapted to temperate zones 4–6 and native to Idaho and Wyoming.  

• Hands-on experience with   pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers .  

• Ability to   diagnose   pest ,   nutrient , and other landscaping issues   impacting   plant health.  

• Professional attributes:   punctual, teachable, self-motivated, honest, and trustworthy.  

• Commitment to   client satisfaction   and effective communication skills.
