What you will do We are looking for an experienced and driven professional to fill a Senior Director position within our High Yield Debt Originations team. You will drive results through collaboration, ownership, and innovation.  This position can be based in our Chicago, IL; Arlington, VA; or Dallas, Texas office.

PGIM Real Estate's Debt Originations team engages in all aspects of the loan origination process. As a Senior Director, Originations, you will be directly responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate high yield debt investments, including mezzanine, bridge, and preferred equity,  for our various investors. Beyond sourcing deals directly, you will serve as a high yield resource to our regional Originations teams, partnering with them on internal referrals and helping develop and execute a marketing strategy to generate high yield investments across the platform.

What you can expect • Source and originate commercial real estate high yield debt investments (mezzanine, bridge, and preferred equity) for PGIM's various investors, both directly and through internal partnerships. • Manage all aspects of the loan origination process, including analysis and underwriting, debt structuring, pricing strategy, presentations to senior management, due diligence review, transaction negotiation and closing. • Serve as a high yield debt expert to Originations loan officers across the platform, partnering with them to develop and execute a marketing strategy that generates high yield investments. • Develop relationships with prospective borrowers and intermediaries focused on the high yield market, while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing clients across the platform.

What you will bring • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, with a track record of originating and closing high yield debt. • A network of borrower and intermediary relationships in the high yield market. • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Outstanding written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a team.

What will set you apart • MBA from a top program; concentration, major or focus in finance and/or real estate. • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) strongly preferred.

Note : Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $185,000 to $200,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.
