About this role

We are SLR Consulting ( US ), a   50 0+   coast-to-coast   team of advisory, environmental/engineering, and regulatory professionals .   We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30   advisory,   technical environmental ,   and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability . W e are Making Sustainability Happen.  

As our new  Payroll Coordinator ,   you will play   an important role   on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.  

Role  

SLR   Consulting   is currently seeking a full-time payroll coordinator t o assist with payroll processes, maintain employee payroll records, validate payroll data, and assist with payroll reporting and compliance activities.

Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees • Process multi-state timesheets on a weekly basis and generate related reports • Maintain and update multiple payroll spreadsheets and reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, or as required • Ensure data integrity within the HRIS (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.) by regularly auditing and updating employee records • Prepare and file year-end forms (e.g., W2s) and ensure all government filings meet statutory deadlines • Manage 401k contributions reconciling them against payroll registers • Serve as one of the primary contacts for payroll inquiries, providing timely responses or directing employees to appropriate resources • Support special payroll and HR projects and initiatives as they arise

• The salary range for this position   is $ 55,000   - $60 ,000 . Final agreed upon compensation will be   commensurate   with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location .

Qualifications • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role • Demonstrated understanding of US payroll legislation and state employment laws • Experience with ADP payroll systems is an asset • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office • Experience with Workday or Deltek Vantagepoint is considered an asset • FCP or CPP Certification preferred • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience working part of a Human Resources team is an asset • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
