Clarity Pediatrics https://url.emailprotection.link/?b_geuVr7wJhtChd17oSZXHmPq-1ItFoIiId_ntxOBF8iFVdhm7lCHJ686zuiz-8H2zZL85j8dCst8H32rc-M7h_dkgXHr_6Kji8wYv1tr4K0vYFs1KlzU9yOVXvJJtd_S is redefining pediatric chronic care in a fragmented $100B industry.

Clarity is fast emerging as one of the most innovative leaders in pediatric health. One in three American children has a common chronic condition like ADHD, allergies, asthma, and obesity – yet families struggle to get timely, high-quality care. We scale virtual access to multi-specialty care, putting all the care a family needs in one place. We are turning a chaotic, fragmented and expensive care journey into a clear path forward.

Now is a great time to join - we just closed a substantial Series A, which means we have runway, ambition and a growing team. Since inception, we’ve raised $25M from leading VCs who invested early in category winners like One Medical, Hims, Spring Health, Cityblock, Alto Pharmacy, Strava, and Tia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Clarity Pediatrics is seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Assessment Clinician to join our remote, multidisciplinary team.

In this specialized role, you will exclusively provide behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and their families, with a primary focus on ADHD and anxiety. You’ll gather and synthesize clinical information, evaluate diagnostic criteria and functional impairment, identify safety concerns and relevant differential diagnoses, and help families understand the most appropriate next steps in care.

This role is designed for clinicians who enjoy the assessment and diagnostic process, can quickly develop rapport with children and caregivers, and are skilled at distilling complex clinical information into clear, actionable recommendations.

This position does not include an ongoing individual therapy caseload or routine group facilitation. Instead, you’ll develop deep expertise in assessment and serve as an important entry point into Clarity’s multidisciplinary care model.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations for children, adolescents, and their caregivers, primarily related to ADHD and anxiety

- Gather relevant developmental, behavioral, psychiatric, medical, family, school, and psychosocial history to inform clinical formulation

- Assess symptom severity, functional impairment, diagnostic criteria, and relevant differential diagnoses

- Integrate clinical interview data, standardized measures, collateral information, and available records into a clear clinical formulation

- Identify and appropriately assess safety concerns, including completing additional risk assessment and safety planning when indicated

- Provide families with clear, evidence-based treatment recommendations and next steps, including Clarity services and referrals to outside providers or higher levels of care when appropriate

- Communicate clinical findings and recommendations in a way that is accessible, compassionate, and actionable for families

- Complete timely, accurate, and high-quality clinical documentation

- Collaborate with Clarity’s behavioral health, medical, and care coordination teams to support appropriate care transitions

- Apply Clarity’s assessment protocols consistently while using sound clinical judgment when presentations are complex or fall outside standard pathways

- Participate in consultation, training, calibration, and ongoing quality improvement to strengthen the consistency and quality of Clarity’s assessment model

ABOUT YOU

- You’re a licensed mental health professional with either: - A master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field and active licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC; or - A doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with active licensure as a psychologist

- You’re currently licensed in California and open to getting licensed in other states (we’ll support you with that!)

- You have experience assessing children and adolescents and working with parents and caregiv
