POSITION: Part-Time Custodial Staff LOCATION: Buddy Holly Hall, Lubbock, TX DEPARTMENT: Operations REPORTS TO: Operations Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cleaning public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevators, stairs, glass railings, windows, and other general cleaning tasks as needed • General cleaning of employee areas and service support areas • Vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in all areas • Floor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing and other floor tasks as needed • Completing custodial checklists as necessary • Ensuring proper use and care of cleaning equipment and machines • Working with and/or directing work efforts of other part time/temporary personnel • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and REQUIREMENTS: • Due to the varied nature of events, availability on nights, weekends and holidays may be required • Must be able to work independently as well as direct work efforts of others • Ability to read and follow directions is a must • Ability to bend, twist and lift 25 lbs regularly is required • Must be able to follow proper work procedures and safety requirements • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform simple repairs is helpful
