Packaging/Labeling Technician II (Thurs-Sat / 12:00 PM-12:30 AM)

Location/Division Specific Information: This position supports site Operations through the accurate printing, control, staging, and movement of production labels and related materials. The Label Control team works closely with Packaging, Operations, Warehouse, Quality, and other site functions to ensure materials are available to support the production schedule while maintaining cGMP and site procedural requirements.

How Will You Make an Impact?: As a Packaging/Labeling Technician, you will help ensure Site Operations have the correct labels and materials available when needed to support safe, compliant, and efficient production. Your attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple activities, and flexibility in responding to changing production schedules will contribute directly to site performance and product quality.

A Day in the Life: •    Print production labels in accordance with approved documentation, production requirements, and site procedures. •    Stage labels and associated materials for Packaging production according to the production schedule and operational priorities. •    Perform required SAP transactions associated with label and material movements, inventory, staging, issuance, returns, and reconciliation activities.

Education: (NA or APAC) High school diploma or equivalent required. Education: (EMEA) High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.

Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, warehouse, material handling, or related environment. Preferred: Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning/inventory management system. ​ Preferred: Experience with label control, material handling, packaging operations, warehouse operations, or production support. Preferred: Experience working in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: •    Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review label information, quantities, documentation, and material information. •    Ability to perform SAP transactions and learn computerized inventory and production systems. •    Ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, production documentation, and cGMP requirements. •    Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. •    Ability to quickly adjust priorities and pivot between assignments in response to production scheduling changes and operational needs.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment This position is performed in a manufacturing and material-handling environment and requires regular physical activity throughout the workday. The employee may be required to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements; and lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. The position may require the use of carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all applicable site safety requirements.
