Job Title : Organization Change Management Lead Reporting To: Corporate IT OCM Manager (Interim) Work Schedule: Hybrid – Buffalo, NY Our Corporate IT team is looking for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to join our growing change management practice. You will report to the Corporate IT OCM Manager and work within a hybrid environment in East Aurora, NY.
As an OCM Lead, you will serve as a trusted advisor to project teams, leaders, and stakeholders across Corporate IT, helping translate complex technology and business changes into thoughtful, practical approaches that enable people to understand, adopt, and sustain new ways of working.
You will lead change efforts across a diverse portfolio of IT initiatives while helping strengthen the broader OCM capability within Corporate IT. That means balancing strategy with execution, adapting established change practices to the needs of each initiative, coaching others, and building trusted partnerships across the organization.
To be considered for the Organizational Change Management Corporate Lead role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you: • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Information Systems, Communications, Business, or a related discipline; advanced education preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in organizational change management, transformation, project delivery, or a related field, preferably supporting technology-enabled change.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing change strategies across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.
• Strong ability to assess a situation, identify the underlying change challenge, and recommend an appropriate course of action.
• Experience adapting established change management frameworks and tools to the scale, complexity, and needs of individual initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with employees, project teams, people leaders, and senior leadership.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple initiatives and priorities while maintaining visibility into risks, commitments, and changing project needs.
• A collaborative working style and willingness to both lead independently and contribute to the development of others.
• Change management certification or designation such as ACMP/CCMP, Prosci, or equivalent experience is preferred.
As an Organizational Change Management Lead, you will: • Lead change strategy and execution for complex or high-impact Corporate IT initiatives from early planning through adoption and sustainment.
• Serve as a trusted change advisor to project managers, sponsors, leaders, and business stakeholders by identifying people-related risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Assess change impacts, stakeholder needs, organizational readiness, adoption risks, and resistance to develop right-sized change approaches.
• Translate project and business objectives into clear strategies for stakeholder engagement, communications, leadership alignment, learning, readiness, and adoption.
• Provide practical recommendations , using data, stakeholder insight, and professional judgment to help teams make informed decisions.
• Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams and use influence to create alignment when formal authority may not exist.
• Coach sponsors, people leaders, project teams, and change champions on their role in successfully leading change.
• Facilitate meaningful conversations with stakeholders to understand how change will affect their work and incorporate those perspectives into the change approach.
• Establish meaningful measures of change readiness, adoption, behavior change, and sustainment and use those insights to adjust strategy when needed.
• Identify change risks early, communicate them clearly, and work collaboratively with project teams to develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Adapt OCM tools, frameworks, and methodologies to the needs of the initiative rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
• Partner across project management, communications, learning, process, technology, and business teams to integrate change activities with the broader project plan.
• Translate OCM data and stakeholder insights into a clear value story for leaders, connecting people outcomes to the operational, financial, strategic, or organizational outcomes that matter to the initiative.
• Mentor and support developing OCM practitioners through coaching, collaboration, and shared project experiences.
• Contribute to the continued development of the Corporate IT OCM practice by improving tools, standards, lessons learned, and ways of working.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $90,000.00–$115,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end
