Job Description:

Company: Mars Wrigley- Albany, GA   Title: Operator Combos T his site manufactures Combos    

Required Shift:    12 Hour Day Shift  Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday   Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday   Hours: 7am-7:30pm Days  7pm – 7:30am Nights   (Hours may differ based on business needs)    Description of Role:

Operator (Combos) must also ensure efficiency, operational conformance, product quality and continuous improvement. Functions as a member of an area team which is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. Operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. 

  What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education

• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing

• 1+ years' mechanically inclined

Physical Requirements:   • Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) 

• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping 

• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces 

• Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). 

• Ability to read, write and speak English 

Preferred Qualifications:   • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment 

• JDA and ATLAS knowledge or other warehouse management systems experience 

• Experience maintaining accurate inventory records 

• Forklift certification

  What will be your Key Responsibilities? • Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area

• Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner 

• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level

• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting

• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)

• Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc. 

• Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks

• Any ad hoc tasks
