POSITION DESCRIPTION   JOB TITLE: Operations Staff COMPANY: Legends Global DEPARTMENT: Operations FACILITY: Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza REPORTS TO: Operations Coordinator FLSA: Part-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: This position performs a multitude of physical tasks associated with the set-up and break-down of the facility as needed. This position also performs general and specialized cleaning of all areas of the Mohegan Arena.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assists in all areas of Operations • Sets up and breaks down equipment as directed (i.e., stages, risers, seating, basketball floor, hockey dasher system, tables and chairs, lobby areas, dressing rooms, and press rooms) • Surveys equipment before and after events to check for damage and/or disrepair • Assists with the maintenance and repair of equipment • Performs snow removal and landscape maintenance as needed • Cleans all areas of the Mohegan Arena including, but not limited to, floors, suites, lavatories, walls, windows, offices, locker rooms, dressing rooms, all seating areas, and the ramps and walkways located inside and outside the Arena • Moves heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies either manually or by using a hand truck or cart; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds • Services, cleans, and stocks restrooms with supplies • Meets all pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning requirements • Empties all trash cans inside and outside the Arena • Performs other duties as assigned

WORK CONTACTS: Daily and/or event day contact with the Operations Department, IATSE union, and all other Arena Staff

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess the ability to interpret written instructions (checklists) as to the physical set-up for specific events • Must possess the ability to perform various physical tasks associated with the set-up and break-down of the facility • Must possess the knowledge of the use of various tools and equipment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds • Position is often exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, dust, noise, wet floors, etc.

• Must be clean and presentable in appearance • Must possess the ability to access all areas of the Arena, walk freely up and down steps, and stand for long periods of time • Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events and complete a scheduled shift • Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, work as part of a team, and have reliable transportation • Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively • Must practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete any company-wide safety training and any additional job specific training • Must pass a HireRight Background Check in accordance with company policy • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
