What You Will Do: • Support budgeting, forecasting, Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, and long-term financial planning, with a focus on revenue, margin, and operational performance. • Support and coordinate monthly close activities related to manufacturing, including inventory, cost of goods sold, manufacturing variances, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Analyze manufacturing cost variances, including purchase price, material usage, labor, overhead, scrap, and yield. Work with Operations and Finance partners to understand the causes of variances and identify opportunities for improvement. • Support accurate inventory valuation and coordinate cycle counts and fixed asset counts. • Review and validate financial savings from Practical Process Improvement (PPI), sourcing, and labor-efficiency initiatives. • Partner with colleagues across Operations, Supply Chain, Product Management, and other functions to provide financial analysis, modeling, and recommendations that support business objectives. • Prepare return-on-investment analyses, financial scenarios, and models to support business decisions and investment opportunities. • Provide timely, accurate, and useful financial reporting and analysis to Finance and business partners. • Support improvements to financial data, reporting, and systems that help teams make informed decisions. • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate financial processes and improve the quality and efficiency of reporting and analysis. • Build collaborative relationships with the Clinical Diagnostics Division FP&A and Systems teams to support consistent and accurate financial reporting. • Support special projects and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as business needs arise. • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture and demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific's 4-I Values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement. • Maintain strong internal controls and support compliance with SOX, Corporate policies, and applicable requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
