• Coordinates pre-transplant evaluations and assessments. • Manages the transplant waiting list and patient status updates. • Facilitates communication between patients, families, and the transplant team. • Organizes and schedules transplant surgeries and related procedures. • Provides education and support to patients and families throughout the transplant process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong assessment skills [Preferred]

• Sound clinical judgment, decision making, and problem-solving skills [Preferred]

• Concise oral and written communication skills [Preferred]

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team-environment [Preferred]

• Effective time management skills in high stress environment [Preferred]

• Basic computer skills [Preferred]

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) [Preferred]

• Nursing case management [Preferred]

Education:

• Bachelor's in health related field [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• in health related field

Work Experience:

• 1+ year leadership experience [Required]

• 1+ year of transplant, critical care [Required]

• Critical care experience or palliative care of patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness [Preferred]

• Teaching/preceptor experience [Preferred]

• Transplant care experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] 

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]

$72,189.82 - $134,259.75 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
