About this role
Job Details Master's prepared registered nurse with in-depth knowledge of nursing theory and education, who plans, designs, coordinates, and evaluates educational programs for the attainment of departmental goals. Key responsibility involves review and coordination of all nursing continuing education programs, maintenance of all records related to continuing education activities, and ensuring timely submission of all required data and applicable applications to the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association.
Job Description • Ensures ongoing record keeping and submission of contact hour program materials, evaluations, attendees, contact hour awarded, and any other required information to maintain provider unit status with PA State Nurses Association. • Actively participates in activities to maintain Magnet Program Recognition accreditation with special attention to areas involving nursing education activities. • Actively participates on committees as assigned and shares information with peers and managers. • Maintains required certification related to area of responsibility/expertise. • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred.
Education - Required • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Related field
Licenses and Certifications - Required • BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association • ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association

Salary Range $90,673.76 to $129,210.11 Annual The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
