MIMINUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in video production, digital media, communications, photography, film, marketing, or a related discipline—or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Two or more years of relevant professional, internship, freelance, academic, or volunteer production experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Lightroom. • Professional photography and photo-editing experience. • Experience recording and editing interviews, podcasts, and voiceovers. • Experience creating basic motion graphics, animated titles, and branded video elements. • Familiarity with livestreaming, teleprompters, remote-recording platforms, or webinar production. • Understanding of codecs, compression, frame rates, resolutions, aspect ratios, color management, and media storage. • Familiarity with captions, transcripts, alternative text, and digital accessibility practices. • Experience filming in corporate, industrial, manufacturing, or event environments. • Portfolio demonstrating strong videography and video-editing abilities. • Working knowledge of professional or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and production equipment. • Proficiency with professional video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or an equivalent platform. • Understanding of composition, exposure, lighting, audio recording, color correction, and visual storytelling. • Familiarity with social media video formats and platform requirements. • Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and time-management skills. • Ability to receive creative direction and revise work based on stakeholder feedback.
