Line of Business: Analytics, Insights, & Artificial Intelligence Job Description: The Modelling/Forecasting Senior Analyst for Fraud Risk Analytics and A I provides analytical, technical, reporting, and process support for the US Fraud, Insider and Conduct Risk Oversight team. The role supports the development and maintenance of repeatable reporting, analytics, dashboarding, and workflow routines that help translate fraud risk, control, issue, and governance information into clear insights for management review and 2nd line oversight activities. The incumbent will use data analysis, business intelligence, and low-code / no-code tools to help gather, structure, validate , visualize, and summarize information from multiple sources, including risk, control, issue, policy, procedure, and operating process data.
The role will also support the team’s use and oversight of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI (GenAI) and emerging automation capabilities, by helping document use cases, assess outputs, summarize key risks, and maintain evidence of review, challenge, transparency, and control expectations. This is a technical analyst role intended for a candidate who can execute hands-on analytics and reporting work, improve repeatable processes, and support senior team members on higher-complexity risk, governance, and AI-enabled initiatives.
Depth & Scope: • Acts as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialization • May serve as an escalation or process reference within field of specialty • Acts an information resource for others in their own area • Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, which may include consultation with numerous stakeholders • Focuses on short to medium-term (weekly-monthly), non-routine specialized/complex issues and/or escalated matters • Independently perform functions/activities from end-to-end
Education & Experience: • Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science) Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience, or; • 3+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards, data models, reporting routines, or scorecards using Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Experience with Power Apps, workflow tools, low-code / no-code solutions, or process automation used to support data capture, workflow management, or oversight routine
• Familiarity with eGRC platforms or the use of control, issue, policy, procedure, and risk data for reporting and management insight.
• Exposure to AI, GenAI, machine learning, analytics automation, or AI-assisted reporting in a business, risk, control, or governance context.
• Understanding of AI governance concepts such as explainability, output validation, human review, responsible use, data quality, transparency, bias, and model risk considerations.
• Fraud risk, financial crime, operational risk, insider risk, conduct risk, or banking experience.
• Experience documenting processes, data flows, business requirements, assumptions, limitations, controls, and review evidence.
• Strong PowerPoint and storytelling capability, with the ability to create clear visuals and concise narratives for leadership-facing materials.
• Curiosity and technical aptitude, with an ability to learn new tools, simplify manual processes, and improve repeatability without losing risk and control discipline.
Customer Accountabilities: • Works closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serves as an ambassador for data modelling
• Translates business requirements into technical requirements
• Ensures core Bank and source systems, data and metadata are appropriately managed to support business requirements/needs
• Develops and/or designs data solutions and conducts reviews of data models and outputs to validate and test quality of information/solutions
• Works closely with cross functional teams of data scientists and business process owners to deliver cutting edge analytic solutions
• Designs and delivers enterprise analytic solutions for the businesses
• Works in a highly interactive and team-oriented environment with Data Scientists and visualization experts
Shareholder Accountabilities: • Adheres to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business area
• Ensures respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
• Participates in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert helping to identify risk/provide guidance for complex situations
• Conducts internal and external research projects; supports the development/delivery of presentations/communications to management or broader audience
• Conducts meaningful analysis at the functional or enterprise level using results to draw conclusions, makes recommendations, assesses the effectiveness of programs/
