Position Summary PIMCO is seeking an experienced and motivated Model Sales and Strategy Lead to join our U.S. GWM Growth Markets Team.  This role is responsible for defining, owning, and executing the U.S. Model Portfolio distribution strategy —including product vision, platform distribution, asset growth, and operating model for U.S. Wealth Management. The Model Sales and Strategy Lead will lead the continued build‑out and scale of PIMCO’s Model Portfolio platform, partnering closely with Sales, Specialists, Portfolio Management, Client Solutions & Analytics, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, and Technology . The role serves as the single point of accountability for U.S. Model Portfolio distribution strategy and adoption , while acting as a senior internal advocate for the voice of the field and ensuring that platform feedback informs product design, messaging and prioritization. Key imperatives include leading U.S. Models platforms asset growth, building and managing strategic partnerships with enterprise and advisor platforms, and driving integration of models across GWM including adoption by Specialists and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities • Define and execute the US GWM Model Portfolio strategy, including product roadmap, investment line-up, positioning, and go-to-market priorities. • Establish and own clear platform distribution strategy and execution across key intermediary channels (wirehouse, independent broker-dealer, RIA, banks, and aggregators).  Drive asset growth by identifying, securing, and converting enterprise partnership opportunities. • Build scalable coverage models with distribution teams, including Sales and Specialists. • Partner with Portfolio Management and Client Solutions and Analytics on model construction and design. • Lead strategic partnerships (e.g., UMA/overlay providers, home offices, and key third-party programs) and negotiate commercial terms in collaboration with internal stakeholders. • Partner closely with Marketing to shape  distribution strategy(s) for model content, messaging, education, and advisor-facing materials. • Design and deliver business reporting and analytics  (AUM, flows, pipeline, platform coverage, adoption, and profitability); translate insights and data into actionable recommendations that drive growth, adoption, and disciplined capital allocation • Support PIMCO’s model solutions with platforms, advisors, and industry partners.

Qualifications • 10+ years of relevant experience in model portfolios, multi-asset solutions, intermediary distribution, product management, or related roles within asset management, wealth platforms, or investment consulting. • Deep understanding of the U.S. wealth business (UMA/SMAs, TAMPs, asset management vehicles, home-office platforms). • Demonstrated success driving business growth through enterprise partnerships , platform relationships, and cross-functional execution. • Strong investment acumen and ability to engage credibly with Portfolio Management and Client Solutions and Analytics on construction, risk, and performance. • Proven leadership experience and ability to influence and execute across a matrixed organization • Excellent executive communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to simplify and tailor complex topics for diverse audiences. • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and or CFA preferred. • Knowledge of fixed income, multi-sector credit, and income-oriented portfolio construction; familiarity with ETF and mutual fund implementation . • Proven ability to partner with Legal/Compliance on marketing, disclosures, and platform requirements. • Experience partnering with technology teams and vendors to improve model delivery, data/reporting, or advisor experience.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 265,000.00 - $ 360,000.00 Equ
