Mental Health Professional (Family-Based) We’re looking for a passionate Mental Health Professional to lead treatment planning and provide therapy for children and families in their homes and communities setting throughout Berks County, PA. In this role, you’ll strengthen family connections, build coping skills, and support long-term stability.

Flexible scheduling required (day, evening, and possible weekend hours). Must reside in or near Berks County, PA. This is an in person full time job. Required Education/Experience

Education -. • Graduate Degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation, or any graduate degree in the field of human services; OR • Registered Nurse with five years’ experience in the mental health field, plus have certification by the Department of Public Welfare, Office of Mental Health (OMH), as a mental health family-based worker; OR • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, pre-med, theology, anthropology, or any degree in the field of human services, plus certification by the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a mental health family-based worker

Experience • Minimum of two years’ experience in a CASSP System Program • Minimum of two years experience working with children

Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour.

Required Licenses/Certifications • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities • Develops and maintains positive relationships • Ensures satisfaction with the company by maintaining proactive, responsive communication.  • Maintains regular, proactive communication and builds new relationships as needed to further the company’s mission and vision.  • Develop meaningful relationships and collaborative with external resources for community linkage and aftercare planning. • Establishes and maintains frequent and regular communication with Program Director, Program Coordinator and clients as needed. • Report treatment difficulties to supervisor. • Identifies and executes on growth opportunities.  • Ability to acknowledge and establish areas of personal and professional growth in annual evaluations. • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with client, child, parent/guardian, treatment team members, and other personnel involved in treatment. • Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with children, families, and staff from a variety of cultures and social backgrounds. • Must have knowledge of various therapy techniques and counseling strategies applicable to serving complex family systems. • Must have knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children/adolescents and adults with persistent mental health challenges. • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must have flexibility in schedule in order to work a flexible schedule that you make • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational and time-keeping skills are essential for successfully coordinating projects and ensuring smooth daily operation. • Must display professional attitude. • Must display empathy, active listening skills, critical thinking/problem solving skills • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Setting Objectives and Goals - (Supported by Beginning with the End in Mind) - Sets meaningful, measurable, and attainable treatment plan goals and objectives for monthly treatment planning as well as professional development. • Develop individualized treatment plans through collaboration with the family and Mental Health Worker.

Prioritizing and Organizing Work - (Supported by Put First Things First) Allocates time and attention based on what is most important to achieve key goals and objectives.  Effectively organizes and balances tasks and priorities to keep multiple projects on track. • Maintains client schedules to assure we are meeting their needs and scheduling when they are available. Submitting electronic health records and time worked within expected time frames. • Attend mandated, group, individual and team supervision as scheduled. • Maintain an organized schedule to include all methods of service delivery (team, individual, group, etc.) service delivery in accordance with regulations. • Adhere to scheduled sessions and deliver appropriate authorized units of service prescribed.

Training/supervision - Has an authentic interpersonal style that engages others and encourages high performance in • Attend trainings as directed by supervisor, in accordance with company policy, and pursuant to applicable regulations. • Attend required supervision sessions and staff meetings in accordance with program/company requirements. • Participated in 3-year Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy training program through Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center
