Job Description: MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our established team at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC) in Augusta, Maine.

Join a collaborative oncology program of 6 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers , supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered cancer care.

Located on the same campus as MaineGeneral's modern 198-bed inpatient medical center , HACCC offers comprehensive cancer services in one setting. With a four-day clinical workweek, manageable 1:6 call schedule, APP inpatient rounding coverage and dedicated clinical support , this opportunity provides the resources to build a rewarding oncology practice while maintaining a meaningful life outside of medicine.

What You'll Find at HACCC

• Collegial, multidisciplinary team of Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, Radiation Oncologists and APPs

• Dedicated nurse navigator and medical assistant support for each physician team

• APP inpatient rounding coverage

• Multidisciplinary tumor boards

• Schedule flexibility with the ability to grow and shape your practice

• Collaborative specialty and surgical support including ENT, Pulmonology, Dermatology, GI, Colorectal, Thoracic, Gynecology and Breast Surgery

• Participation in the Maine Cancer Genomics Initiative, connecting Maine oncology providers with researchers at The Jackson Laboratory

• Life After Treatment care planning and survivorship support

Base Salary Range (Full-Time) - $560,000 - $610,000

Certifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) - American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) - American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) - Maine State Board of Licensure of Podiatric Medicine
