This job is responsible for clinic patient support by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Using the team based approach, assists in the coordination of patient care under supervision of the health care provider (14%)

• Prepares and rooms patients within the clinic practice setting according to standardized work flows. Accurately obtains patient vital signs and history. May assist in the completion of various screening tools.  ( 15%

• Assists providers with examinations and procedures.  ( 15%)

• Provides follow up with patients via preferred method of communication in accordance with provider instructions.  ( 14%)

• Prepares exam rooms for patient visit. Ensures adequate inventory of medical supplies.  ( 14%)

• Accurately performs lab controls and equipment checks.  ( 14%)

• Documents accurately in the electronic health record.  ( 14%)

• Other duties as assigned or requested. 

Q UALIFICATIONS: Required • High School/GED

Preferred • Previous patient care experience

• BLS

Additional Employment Requirements: • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate ​
