Follow @blackstone on  LinkedIn ,  X (Twitter) , and  Instagram .  Blackstone is seeking a Managing Director–level executive to serve as Global Head of Corporate Real Estate & Strategy (“CRES”) Performance & Strategy within Global Corporate Services. The role carries firmwide scope and accountability, with responsibility for driving operational excellence, governance, execution discipline, financial stewardship, business process standardization, and strategic delivery across Blackstone’s global corporate real estate platform. The Global Head of Operations will serve as the senior operational leader for CRES worldwide, working in close partnership with the Global Head of CRES, regional GCS leaders, Finance, Procurement, Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders. The role is accountable for translating strategy into predictable outcomes through rigorous governance, scalable operating models, transparent reporting, disciplined financial management, and consistent global standards. The mandate spans global Blackstone’s corporate office portfolio where the successful candidate will balance enterprise-wide consistency with regional business, market, regulatory, and cultural requirements, while advancing operational efficiency, organizational alignment, process maturity, and long-term business value. Responsibilities: Reporting Line & Global Scope • Report directly to the Global Head of CRES and serve as a senior member of the global CRES leadership team. • Maintain global remit across Blackstone’s corporate office portfolio spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. • Partner with the Global Head of CRES on enterprise priorities, senior stakeholder engagement, and cross-regional execution. • Own execution quality, governance, operating discipline, delivery performance, financial transparency, and continuous improvement across major CRES initiatives globally.

Operational Leadership, Governance & Compliance • Act as the senior operational partner to the Global Head of CRES and regional CRES leaders, translating strategy into clear priorities, operating plans, governance routines, KPIs, and management reporting. • Conduct diligence on existing processes and implement programmatic improvements to align workflows, socialize standards, and embed durable operating discipline with a keen eye on opportunities to implement appropriate AI across the CRES enterprise. • Constant refinement of scalable CRES global operating models, tools, processes, and standards that improve decision-making, execution consistency, stakeholder alignment, and service delivery. • Evaluate & monitor insource versus outsource opportunities to improve efficiency, organizational capability, talent leverage, cost effectiveness, and long-term functional performance. • Establish monthly and quarterly financial, operational, and executive governance routines, including decision forums, escalation protocols, and approval processes. • Maintain approvals, decisions, documentation, and governance records to support audit readiness, compliance requirements, internal controls, and risk management.

Portfolio, Program & PMO Execution • Oversee, in partnership with the Global Head of CRES and regional GCS leaders, the global portfolio of CRES initiatives, including developments, relocations, expansions, consolidations, major renovations, and workplace transformation efforts. • Lead the CRES Program Management Office (PMO) and implement consistent project controls, delivery policies, approval pathways, reporting requirements, and governance disciplines across regions. • Ensure major programs have clear business cases, defined scope, budgets, timelines, risk registers, stakeholder plans, success criteria, and decision requirements. • Proactively manage delivery risk, dependencies, sequencing, milestones, resource requirements, and stakeholder engagement across concurrent global initiatives. • Strengthen delivery predictability through disciplined program reviews, change management, standard reporting, lessons learned, and post-project reviews.

Financial Stewardship: OPEX & CAPEX • Provide senior-level oversight of global operating expenses and capital investment across the corporate real estate and workplace portfolio. • Partner closely with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, accounting policy compliance, multi-year capital planning, and financial approval governance. • Establish clear financial governance for capital approvals, operating budgets, investment decisions, business cases, and executive-level trade-offs. • Drive cost discipline, transparency, and decision-oriented financial insights across commitments, forecasts, vendor spend, savings opportunities, and budget performance.

Vendor Management & Strategic Partner Governance • Partner with regional GCS leaders and Global Procurement on sourcing strategy, vendor pipeline management, onboarding, contract negotiations, and service performance improvement. • Maintain visibility into vendor performance and drive accountability through consistent metrics, scorecards, review cadences, issue tracking, and escalation protocols. • Oversee key external partners and reinforce consistency in design standards, workplace principles, delivery quality, documentation, financial controls, and operating procedures.
