Position Overview:
You will play a key role in supporting Polaris’ material compliance efforts by helping ensure products and components meet applicable global regulatory requirements. In this role, you will evaluate materials and product data, interpret regulations, prepare compliance documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance-related matters throughout the product lifecycle. You will contribute to both new product development and sustaining product initiatives while supporting compliance programs across multiple regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Execute material compliance activities related to global regulations, including Prop 65, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, and PFAS. • Evaluate bills of materials (BOMs), components, and materials to determine compliance status and identify potential risks. • Support compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle for both new product development and sustaining products. • Interpret and apply applicable global regulations to products, components, materials, and supplier-provided information. • Prepare compliance documentation, regulatory declarations, reports, and supporting records for internal and external stakeholders. • Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential impacts on products, materials, and compliance processes. • Coordinate with suppliers, laboratories, and regulatory organizations to verify compliance requirements and supporting data. • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and quality teams to investigate and resolve compliance-related issues. • Maintain compliance data, records, and documentation to support regulatory reporting and program requirements.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline. • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in compliance testing, regulatory compliance, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. • Working knowledge of material compliance regulations and regulatory requirements. • Ability to interpret regulatory frameworks, technical documentation, and compliance requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%. • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $74,000 to $92,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
