As a Marketing Coordinator, you will enthusiastically represent United Parks & Resorts by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job. Join us and play an important part on our incredible marketing team!
What you get to do: • Support the marketing of SeaWorld and Sesame Place with the development of website content and email newsletters. • Support the Partnership Manager with fulfill ing sponsor / partner agreements with all marketing obligations in the form of s ocial collaborations , email, website, partner event s , etc. • Support Partnership Manager in s ecuring and executing radio and TV promotions which include pitching radio station partners, reviewing proposals, drafting agreements, and executing agreements. • Support the team in partner research and pitching new or returning partners a nd sponsorship. • Assist the team in inputting SAP ticket requests. • Assist in ticket mailings and data entry to upkeep the tracking log s and media values. • Monitor radio and TV m edia partner websites and social media channels to ensure each promotion al execution and proper use of the pro vided theme park branded assets. • Coordinate c reative service request s and park signage orders for new creative needs and routing for internal approvals. • Support with creating marketing presentation s and recap decks f or partners and events. • Support the Marketing team with on-site and off-site events including r adio broadcasts, grand openings, annual pass member events, community events, and special eve nts. • Flexible schedule that may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Assist in daily administrative duties.
What it takes to succeed:
• 1 + years of experience related to special events, hospitality industry and communication or equivalent related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, and/or combined equivalent of education and experience
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Able to meet all the requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles
• At least 18 years old
Competencies: • Exceptional organization and communications skills; able to read, write and speak English
• Exhibits sharp, agile thinking in fast-paced situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook)
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey important ideas and concepts to different audiences clearly and persuasively, especially to senior management, top executives from key accounts, and hospitality industry leadership in group settings and able to adapt communication styles
• Must be able to function effectively as part of a collaborative team, as well as work independently, to meet deadlines
• Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple complex projects to completions while seizing emerging opportunities
• Ability to multi-task, meet stringent deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, team selling environment
• Positive and enthusiastic demeanor to set example to the park staff on how to champion the organization
Availability: • Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and Holidays.
• Full-Time may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week
Compensation: $20 USD Hourly
