Desired: • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 5+ years developing manufacturing processes for large systems. • Experience implementing vertical integration strategies, especially industrial robotics. • Familiarity with large-scale composites, cryogenic tank manufacturing, and propulsion assembly. • Experience with novel tooling — automation, robotics, modular/reconfigurable fixtures. • Hands-on shop floor experience and process validation. • TIG/MIG/laser welding, brazing, or soldering experience. • CNC programming/operation (3-axis+ mills and lathes). • Experience designing mechanisms, fixtures, jigs, and test stands. • Familiarity integrating mechanical systems with electrical components, sensors, actuators, and controls. • Working knowledge of metals, polymers, and composites. • Personal "maker" history — hobby projects, competitions, restoration work, etc.
