The Camas Wafer Fab is a growing 150mm , high-volume, 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing facility producing leading-edge precision integrated circuits that support Analog Devices' diverse portfolio of semiconductor solutions.
The Production Manager is responsible for leading daily manufacturing execution across assigned production shifts within the wafer fabrication facility. This role directly manages a team of Production Supervisors and indirectly leads approximately 1 20 - 150 Operators, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
The Production Manager plays a critical role in achieving site objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, and Employee Development while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
We are hiring two Production Managers to support either our Front Half or Back Half production teams. These roles support a compressed workweek schedule covering Days and Nights (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday).

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned shifts, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives .
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of 6-8 Production Supervisors overseeing approximately 1 20 – 150 operators between two shi ft s .
• Lead workforce growth initiatives, including recruiting, onboarding, and developing new manufacturing talent, with the potential to expand the operator workforce by potentially 40 additional employees as the site continues to grow.
• Execute production plans and staffing strategies to meet customer demand while maintaining operational stability.
• Monitor manufacturing performance through operational metrics, dashboards, and visual management systems to drive timely decision-making and issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams and leaders to resolve operational challenges and improve manufacturing performance.
• Support the introduction of new products, process changes, and manufacturing technologies while ensuring operational readiness and stable execution.
• Champion the adoption of digital manufacturing tools, automation solutions, and data-driven decision-making throughout the production organization.
Operational Excellence
• Promote a safe and healthy workplace by enforcing cleanroom protocols, 5S S tandards, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive quality performance through disciplined problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, 5 Why s , Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators including cycle time, productivity, labor efficiency, throughput, and schedule attainment.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and strengthen overall manufacturing performance.
• Partner in capacity planning and resource allocation activities to maximize throughput and operational flexibility.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activities while maintaining adherence to manufacturing and quality standards.
• Utilize manufacturing systems, analytics, and operational data to identify trends and drive sustainable performance improvements.
People Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance management, succession planning, and talent development activities to strengthen organizational capability.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure workforce readiness and operational success.
• Develop cross-training and skill-building programs that enhance workforce flexibility and employee growth.
• Drive effective communication across shifts and departments through daily operating reviews, shift handoffs, team meetings, and employee communications.
• Model and promote ADI's Enterprise Excellence Guiding Principles through visible leadership and operational discipline.
Schedule
This is an exempt leadership position supporting a 24/7 continuous semiconductor manufacturing operation at the Camas , WA Wafer Fab.
Production Managers are assigned responsibility for either the Front Half or Back Half of the production week and generally work a compressed schedule of:
• Sunday-Wednesday
Or
• Wednesday-Saturday
Shift hours will be determined based on business needs and assignment .
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, cleanroom operations, or a comparable advanced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading supervisors and large frontline manufacturing teams in a high-volume production environment.
• Previous management experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
