This reliable, self-starting individual, as part of the Equipment Maintenance team will ensure the reliability and efficiency of the facility’s equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Scope of Position
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician will be a key contributor to continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging your technical expertise to support a committed team focused on operational excellence. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, ensuring a safe, productive environment, and driving long-term equipment reliability. This position reports to the Facilities Manager. This role is onsite and is based in St. Paul's, NC.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of production and infrastructure equipment. • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components. • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for task tracking and documentation. • Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts. • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine components. • Install and repair electrical apparatuses such as transformers and wiring. • Layout, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. • Repair and maintain manual and CNC mills and lathes. • Use cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts as needed. • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Facilities Manager. • Participate in problem solving, training and Kaizen activities
Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience. • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. • Strong electrical and mechanical abilities. • Familiarity with a CMMS for maintenance operations. • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, or equivalent software. • Forklift experience. • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures. • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications • Maintenance related training • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s location in St. Pauls, NC Monday-Friday with an occasional Saturday. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
Physical Requirements :
Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: • Ability to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds. • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor. • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers. • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
