About this role: The Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the maintenance, optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment at a Carrier manufacturing facility. This hands-on role partners with the engineering team to support tooling, improve lines and troubleshoot processes.

Key Responsibilities: • Supports the maintenance, adjustment and fine-tuning of equipment, fixtures and tooling while prioritizing safety.

• Provides technical support to operations to hold process standards and cycle times.

• Performs tests, measurements, capability studies and process documentation.

• Supports process-improvement and problem-solving projects on the floor.

• Maintains process sheets, work instructions, and visual aids, ensuring strict documentation standards for equipment settings and process changes.

• Supports the optimization of production lines.

• Supports equipment commissioning, startup, and process validation activities.

• Responsible for data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Required Qualifications: • Technical/associate degree.

• 5+  years of experience as a manufacturing or process technician.

Preferred Qualifications: • Degree or trade school experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electromechanical or a related field.

• Hands-on skills installing, setting up and fine-tuning equipment, fixtures and tooling.

• Ability to read blueprints, process sheets and work instructions.

• Working knowledge of measurement/inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

• Basic knowledge of Lean tools (5S, standard work) and floor problem-solving.

• Experience supporting production line optimization and continuous improvement.

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
