Job Summary
North American Insurance (NAI) is Acrisure's largest business, representing over $2 billion of annual revenue across six lines of business — Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, Specialty Lines, Claims & Services, and Global Wholesale — and three functional areas including Placement, Revenue Operations, and Operations.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise FP&A & Reporting, the Manager of NAI Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for producing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for NAI — synthesizing inputs from FP&A's Revenue, Expense, and Strategic Finance functions into a single, cohesive financial narrative. This role goes beyond compilation: it is expected to develop a well-reasoned, so-what perspective on NAI's financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across lines of business and functional areas, which is then aligned with FP&A leadership before distribution to senior executives.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of insurance brokerage, strong financial storytelling instincts, and the organizational discipline to orchestrate complex multi-source inputs into a polished, executive-ready product.
Responsibilities
Financial Consolidation & Reporting
• Own the monthly and quarterly NAI financial reporting package end-to-end — coordinating inputs from the Revenue, Expense, and Strategic Finance FP&A functions and consolidating them into a unified, executive-ready deliverable.
• Integrate PubCo financial results provided by Corporate Accounting with FP&A variance analysis across Budget, Prior Year, Prior Forecast, and Current Forecast dimensions — ensuring consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all reporting views.
• Maintain and continuously improve the structure, format, and quality of NAI reporting packages, with a focus on narrative clarity, visual presentation, and decision-relevance for senior leadership audiences.
• Serve as the final FP&A review point before reporting packages are submitted to FP&A leadership, ensuring inputs from all functional teams meet quality, consistency, and completeness standards.
Financial Narrative & So-What Analysis
• Develop a well-reasoned, so-what narrative that synthesizes financial performance across NAI's lines of business and functional areas — translating variance data into a coherent story about what is driving results and what it means for the business.
• Identify and clearly articulate performance trends, risks, and opportunities across NAI, drawing on inputs from FP&A functional teams to build a perspective that goes beyond the numbers.
• Partner with the Head of FP&A to align on editorial commentary and key messages before final distribution, ensuring the narrative reflects FP&A leadership's collective view.
• Bring intellectual curiosity and financial judgment to the reporting process — not just assembling facts, but forming and defending a point of view on NAI's financial trajectory.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate reporting inputs from FP&A's Revenue & Commission Insights, Expense Management, and Strategic Finance Business Partner functions — establishing clear submission standards, timelines, and quality expectations for each reporting cycle.
• Partner with the Enterprise FP&A & Reporting team on integration of NAI results into enterprise-level reporting packages and Board / ELT materials owned by peer reporting functions.
• Work closely with Corporate Accounting to ensure PubCo results and GAAP inputs are accurately reflected in NAI management reporting, flagging discrepancies or reconciling items as needed.
• Build strong working relationships across FP&A Centers of Excellence to foster a culture of shared accountability for reporting quality and deadline adherence.
Process & Continuous Improvement
• Id entify and drive improvements to the NAI reporting process — including input templates, consolidation workflows, review cadences, and document standards — to increase efficiency and output quality over time.
• Partner with the FP&A modernization agenda to incorporate improved data sources, planning tools, and reporting capabilities into the NAI consolidation and reporting process as they become available.
Requirements
• Strong financial storytelling skills — able to synthesize multi-source data into a clear, well-reasoned narrative that conveys both facts and informed judgment to senior leadership.
• A bility to coordinate inputs across multiple finance functions, holding partners accountable to standards and deadlines while maintaining collaborative working relationships.
• High attention to detail and strong document quality standards, with a track record of producing polished, executive-ready financial materials.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and platforms, including Excel and Power BI or comparable BI tools; experience with planning platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple reporting cycles simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven env
