Summary:                                           The Operational Intelligence Center is a sophisticated command center focused on customer service to retail centers across North America. The Intelligence Manager position is directly responsible for leading a diverse team of intelligence professionals actively engaged in social media monitoring, information collection, analysis, and dissemination in a timely manner to key stakeholders. Serving as the primary intelligence liaison for business partners and operational stakeholders, the Intelligence Manager develops and maintains trusted relationships with OIC leadership, retail operations, and executive leadership. This role is responsible for identifying stakeholder intelligence requirements and ensuring intelligence products, assessments, and reporting are aligned with operational and strategic business needs. Intelligence Managers must use the full range of intelligence community sources and products to identify and assess threats to the organization and sector, prepare studies and assessments of threats, potential threats, and threat-related trends using sophisticated collection and research methodologies, and lead their teams in leveraging customized targeting infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities. The Intelligence Manager must possess strong leadership skills and assume responsibilities that ensure the success of intelligence operations, guide teams, and influence high-level decision-making. An Intelligence Manager must demonstrate a blend of technical, analytical, leadership, and communication skills to effectively manage intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination. Additionally, Intelligence Managers compose and oversee analytical intelligence reports, graphics, and briefings, while developing and presenting all-source intelligence products and managing threat intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide strong leadership to an analyst team in a 24/7 operational environment inspiring, motivating, mentoring, and developing intelligence professionals. • Set priorities, delegate tasks, and manage scheduling/coverage to oversee multiple concurrent intelligence-gathering efforts without interruption. • Lead recruitment, interviews, and training for new analysts; ensure ongoing analyst development/training for complex intelligence tasks. • Establish performance goals and KPIs; conduct regular weekly check-ins, Annual performance reviews and provide feedback to drive high-quality, actionable intelligence. • Review and approve intelligence products for accuracy, objectivity, and analytic rigor. • Build a cohesive, collaborative team environment; address conflicts and team dynamics to sustain morale and productivity. • Deep understanding of the intelligence cycle, threat assessment, and both strategic and tactical intelligence practices. • Ability to integrate HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT into a unified operational picture. • Proficiency in data mining, automation, and OSINT platforms (Dataminr, Fivecast, ArcGIS, etc.). • Deep understanding of critical weather monitoring, particularly tropical storms and severe weather events (hurricanes, wildfires, winter weather). • Strong problem-solving skills to address complex intelligence challenges. • Conduct after-action reviews and lessons learned following significant incidents. • Proficiency in risk analysis and strategic forecasting to anticipate operational needs. • Serve as the focal point directing intelligence efforts during emergencies, natural disasters, and security incidents, guiding the team with clear directives. • Familiarity with operational procedures and protocols for crisis management and emergency response. • Ability to make quick, sound decisions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. • Produce clear, concise intelligence reports for senior leadership, decision-makers, and site stakeholders. • Strong briefing and presentation skills, able to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences alike. • Facilitate team meetings and coordinate closely with other Intelligence counterparts (Strategic and Crime analyst). • Collaborate effectively with public/private agencies and external partners; build and maintain networks of information sources (Fusion centers, PD etc.). • Develop and regularly update intelligence SOPs and training materials to strengthen team effectiveness and compliance. • Establish analytic standards and ensure adherence to intelligence tradecraft principles. • Adapt to evolving technologies, threats, and intelligence-gathering techniques; commit to ongoing learning and staying current with new tools and global developments. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement as new threats and methodologies emerge. • Test and validate new open source intelligence tools, be prepared to discuss findings with leadership on how the tool functions and make recommendations

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills; able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions while bringing in the right stakeholders for decision-making. • Able to work independently, assess large volumes of information from multiple sources, and recall/record essential details quickly. • Skilled at examining problems from multiple vantage points and using reference materials effectively in research. • Working knowledge of strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence methods, with familiarity across the full range of intelligence disciplines. • Knowledge of national security, law enforcement, and/or private sector/corporate intelligence methodologies. • Strong understanding of risk management and its role in strategic intelligence operations. • Familiarity with privacy laws, data protection regulations, and jurisdictional issues in intelligence work, particularly OSINT and cybersecurity. • Strong leadership skills and willingness to take ownership o
