The Naval Power (NP) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts within the Naval Radar Systems program area. This acceleration lead will focus on the execution of the recently awarded SPY-6 Hardware Production and Sustainment (HP&S) contract extension. SPY-6 is the U.S. Navy family of radars that performs air and missile defense on seven classes of ships and is a giant leap in capability for the fleet.
This role will be an integral part of the business teams, supporting strategic solutions, and providing dynamic recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution issues. The candidate should be an effective communicator, highly motivated, and well-organized who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

What You Will Do • Advise and/or represent the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
• Facilitate and ensure constant communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team
• Draft, interpret, and manage contract documents in support of Contracts and the Business Unit
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and may provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals with tasks and assignments
• Multi-task routine and complex contract activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge.
• Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
• Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop business relationships
• Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope
• Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise
• Travel anticipated to support customer meetings
Qualifications You Must Have • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in leading and/or administering U.S. Government contracts under the FAR, and / or DFARS (this may include proposal activity, contract negotiation, and/or change management)
Qualifications We Prefer • Experience with FMS contracts
• Strong experience with Global Trade requirements, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Experience with Incentive-type contracts, such as Fixed-Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) contracts
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust
