THE   ROLE  

The Truth   is seeking a   part-time   Maintenance Staff Member to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience.   This position provides oversight and support for the maintenance and operational functionality of The Truth. This role works closely with and reports directly to the Facilities Manager while collaborating with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure the venue’s equipment, building systems, and infrastructure are   maintained   in a safe, efficient, and show-ready condition.    

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO       

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.      

• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.      

• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.      

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.      

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and  make adjustments .      

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines,  equipment  and plant facilities.      

• Work with vendors for upkeep maintenance on HVAC, elevator controls, electrical, etc.   

• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.      

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric  meters  and material handling equipment in performing duties.      

• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual   situations to proper supervision.      

• Partner   with fellow staff members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables or trash from the venue, picking   up   and   properly storing   event equipment such as chairs, barricade, Etc.   

• Fosters positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that   establishes   the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment  

• Comply with  safety regulations and  maintain  clean and orderly work areas.      

• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.      

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING   

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.      

• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.      

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.      

• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs,  lifting  and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
