At a Glance: The Machinery Technician is primarily responsible for disassembly and assembly drilling rig machinery and equipment.

What you will do:  • Performs general assembly of machinery and equipment.

• Cleans and inspects parts for defects.

• Installs specified new or reconditioned parts.

• Tests function of engines, pumps and other mechanical units.

• Demonstrate the H&P company values: Actively C.A.R.E., Service Attitude, Innovative Spirit, and Teamwork

What you need: • High school degree or GED equivalent 

• Work ethic

• Problem-solving skills

• Technical aptitude

• Resourcefulness

• Good communication skills

• The ability to listen to and follow instructions

• A willingness to work as part of a team

• Close attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and use own initiative
