Job Description:

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, safety-obsessed aviation environment?    

Lounge Agents welcome   guests into the Wingtips Airport Lounge, arrange for special services, and   assist   with any questions. The goal is to make each guest feel special by delivering exceptional customer   service,   making them eager to return.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Provide friendly and professional service to guests, communicating with them by name whenever possible.  

• Offer amenities to guests as needed.  

• Respond to guest requests for   assistance   or information on Airport/Airline operations.  

• Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times.  

• Communicate with food   attendants   to ensure food products are of high standard in freshness and appearance.  

• Replenish items if needed.  

• Ensures a safe work environment by following all AGI rules and regulations   regarding   the workplace.  

• Maintain the level of service expectations at all times.  

• Maintain and   observe   the New York Health and Safety standards.  

• Verifying passenger’s eligibility to access the lounge and welcoming entitled passengers to the lounge  

• Observing that lounge is replenished and tidy all the   time .  

• Ensuring proper set-up is done (morning, afternoon, evening).  

Safety, Security and Compliance :  

All AGI Team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:  

• Take reasonable care for the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work.  

• Cooperate with their manager / supervisor to allow them to perform or  comply with  any legal requirements imposed on the company.  

• Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, wellbeing, safety, security, or welfare reasons.  

• Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment, or activity that  represents  a serious or immediate danger to health, wellbeing, safety, and security.  

• Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in company and carrier Safety and Security procedures.   

• Carry out work  in accordance with  information and training provided and any specific health, wellbeing, safety, and security rules or procedures.  

• Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.   

• Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Must be able to lift up to 14kg.  

• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.  

• Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.  

• Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, irregular shifts including late evening shifts.  

Qualifications:  

• Must be at least 18 years of age.  

• Must   possess   a High School Diploma or equivalent.  

• Must be able to obtain airport security clearance which includes an extensive check of your last 5 years of employment, criminal record, and residence history.  

• Must have at least one year of face-to-face customer service experience in a hotel, restaurant, private club, lounge, or similar setting  

• Demonstrated leadership skills in the workplace   are preferred .  

• Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions.  

• If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
